Molly + Noah ::{ The Towers at Snows Mill • Monroe, Georgia Wedding Photographer }::

There are some weddings that are beautiful because of the setting. Some are beautiful because of the details. And then there are weddings that are beautiful because of what is happening beneath all of it.

Molly and Noah’s wedding day at The Towers at Snows Mill was one of those. It was a day centered around Christ, surrounded by the people who love them most, and filled with the kind of quiet, genuine moments that make photographing weddings so meaningful to me.

As a bonus, I fell a little bit in love with their venue, too! When I arrived at The Towers at Snows Mill the morning of their wedding, this was my first time stepping foot on the premises. Of course I had done my research online ahead of time, but seeing it in person was such a pleasant surprise. The space has a really beautiful balance of old and new. The rustic character gives it warmth and charm, while the cleaner, more modern elements bring a sense of sophistication and polish. The result is a space that feels chic, intentional, and incredibly photogenic.

And yes, Georgia decided to make sure we really earned those photographs that day. It was hot. Like, really really hot! But everyone kept smiling.

One of my favorite parts of Molly and Noah’s story actually started before Molly was ever my bride. Molly had been a guest at another wedding I photographed for one of her friends a few years back! And those friends repaid her as a guest to this wedding as well. Molly watched me work that day. She saw how I approached photographing a wedding, how I interacted with the couple and their guests, and how I documented the little moments happening throughout the day. And she remembered me. When her own wedding day came, she knew she wanted to reach out. That means so much to me.

There is something especially meaningful about being chosen by someone who has already experienced your work as a witness. Molly didn’t simply see a few pretty images online and decide I might be a good fit. She had actually watched me photograph a wedding—and when it was finally her turn to get married, she knew she wanted me there. I don’t take that lightly.

A First Look with a Little Twist

Molly also had a fun idea for their first look. She wanted to do something a little different. Traditionally, the groom is waiting for his bride, and she walks toward him before he turns around to see her. But Molly wanted to flip that around. Noah walked toward her. And I loved it. Instead of one quick turn and an immediate reaction, Noah had the opportunity to see Molly from a distance as he slowly made his way toward her.

He got to take her in. He got to see his bride standing there waiting for him. And when he finally reached her, his response was simple: “You look perfect.” It was one of those little moments that didn’t need anything added to it.

The Tears We Didn’t Expect

During their private vows, Noah surprised us all. He cried. And honestly, I think that made the moment even more beautiful.

There is something different about private vows. Without an audience, without the pressure of performing for anyone else, there is room to simply be honest with one another. And that’s what I saw in Molly and Noah.

Their vows weren’t just words that sounded beautiful. They were promises. Promises made between two people who were entering into a covenant before God. Watching Noah become emotional as he listened to Molly’s words was such a beautiful reminder of the weight of the commitment they were making. These weren’t simply promises for a wedding day. They were promises for a lifetime.

A Marriage Built on Something Bigger

For Molly and Noah, their wedding wasn’t ultimately about having the perfect flowers, the perfect photographs, or even the perfect day. It was about beginning their marriage with Christ at the center. It showed up in the way they prayed, in the words they exchanged, in the people they chose to surround themselves with, and in the genuine joy that filled their day. That’s the kind of foundation I hope every couple remembers long after the wedding day is over. Because the wedding lasts a day. The covenant lasts a lifetime.

Molly & Noah

Molly and Noah, thank you for trusting me with such an important piece of your story. Your day was beautiful in all the ways that matter most. It was joyful. And even though Georgia tried its absolute best to melt us all alive, I wouldn’t trade the memories we made for anything. I’m so grateful I got to be there to witness the beginning of this next chapter.

May your marriage always point you back to Christ, and may the promises you made on this day continue to shape the life you build together.
