Sessions are thoughtfully photographed either in my private farmhouse studio in Commerce, Georgia or in the refined atmosphere of a luxury hotel, allowing you to choose the setting that best reflects your style and comfort... And then occassionally, creative opportunities come up. If you have any exploratory ideas you would like to consider, I'm all ears.
From the moment you inquire until your final product is delivered, it is my mission to make sure every part of your experience is handled with professionalism, discretion, and respect—so you can feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully seen.
Boudoir photography is one of the most personal experiences I offer, and because of that, I choose to keep my clients' images private. Their trust means more to me than building an online portfolio for the world wide web to explore.
If you're considering a boudoir session and would like to see examples of my work, I'd be happy to share a curated portfolio during a private consultation or one-on-one meeting. This allows me to honor the privacy of past clients while giving you a clear idea of my style, approach, and the experience you can expect.
Every woman deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and completely respected throughout the entire process—and that commitment begins long before the camera comes out.
Q. WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS TO THE DIGITAL FILES?
A. You will have complete printing privileges to the digital files you purchase with an official print release document I provide to you. This allows you to print at your heart's content however you want. For best quality assurance I highly recommend ordering any printed artwork through me.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
A. For most portrait sessions, my turnaround time is about 1-2 weeks (tops) for completing all postproduction tasks necessary. Of course it all depends on the current workload of that particular season.
Q. HOW DO YOU PROOF PHOTOS FROM OUR SESSION?
A. After our session, I will upload edited digital proofs to a private online gallery for you to view and download. From there you will be able to order printed materials as you wish using the online gallery's shopping cart feature.
Q. HOW DO YOU DELIVER DIGITAL COLLECTIONS?
A. Gone are the days when you would wait for a CD or USB drive to arrive at your door. Keeping up with newer, and more efficient, technology I deliver all digital collections to you via digital download. Instant gratification at its finest! Digital images are delivered as high-resolution JPEG files in both color and black and white.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR EDITING STYLE?
A. My editing style remains clean, crisp, timeless, and true---just look at my portfolio! I try my very best to shoot as perfect as possible in-camera. However, there are always imperfections here and there that need improvement beyond what can be produced by my camera. I never try to go too heavy on the editing, just to simply enhance the images before me. I do retouch, but I always strive to keep the authenticity of the person at hand. I aim for genuine colors, skin tones, and density. There is a lot of care and attention paid to each photo you receive.
Q. HOW SOON DO WE NEED TO BOOK OUR SESSION?
A. I really don't think it's ever too early to book your session. I take a limited amount of work each month. Depending on the time of year, I can book a month or two out. But if you need to shoot sooner than that, it might be possible to work that out. Call me!
Q. HOW DO WE GET OUR SESSION RESERVED?
A. If you're ready to get plans going for your session, give me a call! I'd love to hear about what you have in mind. I'll send you my full price sheet, too. Once we get some ideas rolling, I'll e-mail an invoice to you to get you set up for booking. All sessions are booked on a first-come first-serve basis and require a session fee payment upfront. I accept most major credit cards, cash, and checks.
Q. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A. I do! I live in Athens, Georgia, but I will travel up to 50 miles out. Any destination beyond that incurs an additional travel fee. Please get in touch for more information about that!
Q. WHAT DO WE WEAR? HOW MANY OUTFIT CHANGES?
A. After booking your session with me, I will send lots of information and helpful hints your way. I do not put a restriction on how many outfits you can bring. The available light dictates how long I can photograph you, so just whatever we can achieve within the amount of time we have is permissable.
Q. WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU PREFER TO SHOOT?
A. Sunrise and sunset are my favorite times of day to take pictures! Typically I arrange to begin sessions about 30 minutes after sunrise or 2 hours before sunset. Most sessions can be completed within about an hour, more or less.
Q. HOW DO YOU APPROACH PORTRAIT SESSIONS?
A. I like to bring a comfortable vibe to portrait sessions. I am definitely one to delegate the session, in efforts of making you feel at ease and confident. It takes an experienced photographer to know when it's a better shot to sit back and capture candids, especially with children! I might even get a little silly when trying to bring out your little one's true smile!
