Happy Wednesday, friends!
I’m so excited to share with you some of my favorite photographs from a beautiful fall mountain wedding in Northeast Georgia! From the scenic views to it’s rustic charm, R Ranch in the Mountains provided the perfect place for Kelsey and Clay to pronounce their “I Do’s” to one another right in the heart of Dahlonega, Georgia.
The outdoor ceremony overlooking the mountaintops was sentimental and personal. What stuck out to me the most was their unity tree. There are many ways to unify your marriage during a wedding ceremony, and I’ve seen many methods, but this was different and unique. They planted a tree with soil and water in a pot, which would later be transferred to their home. Over time they’ll be able to watch that tree, and their marriage, grow. If that doesn’t pull at your heartstrings, I don’t know what will!
Remember Kelsey and Clay’s engagement session we featured on our blog? Ever since they stepped in front of my camera and showed me their natural talent for being so photogenic, I have been on the edge of my seat for this wedding. And now I get to share it with you!
Kelsey and Clay have a grace about their relationship. You can feel the comfort and trust in their relationship when they’re together. Seeing them together reminds me of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and furthermore encourages me to reflect the same grace in my marriage. And even in my relationships toward others.
