I remember it like it was just yesterday. Being introduced to him for the first time under the roof of Maysville Baptist Church. This guy was quirky, funny, and in contagious high spirits. Quite the entertainer, I might add. His friendliness welcomes you in. And a friendship like this has continued ever since… Ever since I entered into the college ministry at my church in 2007!
Robby (the groom) has been friends with my husband for a pretty long while, and when I came into my husband’s life the friendship sparked between Robby and I. Knowing the path he’s traveled through his journey to the man he is today, I am so appreciative of the strong woman who stands beside him now. It brings me joy to see Robby so happy. Jaclyn is the perfect match for Robby. There is no doubt about that. It’s something I felt from the day she and I met on her wedding day. She has a grace about herself and in the relationship she has with Robby. As a strong, Christian couple, I know their love will abide in faith and will endure all that life brings their way.
This sweet couple established their marriage in the beautiful Ida Carson Memorial Chapel at Callaway Gardens, and then continued onward to the Reception at the Sibley Horticulture Center there.
Robby and Jaclyn, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer for your wedding day. I was completely blessed to join in on that day with you. Can you imagine your grandchildren looking back at these photographs one day (a long time from now)?! To see the love that their Grandma and Grandpa had for each other on their wedding day, to be witnesses of that love that continued to grow over many years of marriage together. What an amazing thing that will be! I love you guys. 🙂
