I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful blue sky for a wedding day… at least this summer anyway! That’s right! The photographs you see below are real. You won’t find any fake skies in these images, people! That’s how lovely of a day it was! While I’m very thankful for the abundance amount of rain we’ve had this year, Shannon and I were extremely grateful that God held back this year’s notorious rain drops for Mallory and Austin’s wedding day. We were truly blessed to be a part of their special day. We started out absolutely rocking the rock shots which gave us just the boost of excitement we needed to start off the day. I, myself, am a member of Maysville Baptist Church and I actually got married there this past January. It was really neat to be able to photograph around the venue that day as memories and reminders of my own wedding day came into mind and comforted me with joy and wedding day bliss; just what I needed to effectively and successfully shoot this wedding.
Austin and Mallory were high-school sweethearts, and now that they are done with college, they’ve finally gotten to the wedding day that they had been dreaming of for so long. They are also, individually, sweethearts themselves. They are just such a genuinely sweet couple with great hearts. It’s so easy to fall in love with this couple, no wonder they fell in love with each other! When I look at them, I see two best friends that are perfect for each other. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Drew!
