Being an artist myself, I love working with other artists. There is a magic that just happens when two creative people come together in a creative setting. Creative juices get flowing and the artistic vibes fill the atmosphere. We are on common ground. Awesomeness just… happens. I was really excited to get the opportunity to photograph portraits for Eli Carlan, a rising singer songwriter in the blues and rock industry from Commerce, Georgia. You see, he’s getting published in Pop Vulture magazine and needed portraits of him to send in. Of course I jumped right on that! I’m sure you guys have heard his work, but if not, you should definitely check him out (www.elicarlan.com). I’ve seen him perform several times and he is outstanding! His voice is awesome and he DOMINATES the guitar effortlessly. My wish is that, someday, I’ll be able to dominate the guitar just half as good as he can! Until then, I’ll just continue to dominate portraits… Check it out!
