Being pregnant for the first time is so incredibly special. A little, yet life-changing, secret between you and your life partner! How you spill the beans about your exciting news can be a lot of fun. And that’s what we did for Jenna and Blaine! I photographed this session around their 8-week mark of their pregnancy journey. They came up with the poolside concept and I was able to take that concept and turn it into a summer-themed magazine cover for their official reveal photo. The magazine design turned out to be a hit for their friends when this picture was shared on their social media accounts! Not only did we shoot pool side, but I also got to photograph this beautiful couple around their wooded backyard at their home. Having gone through the experience of being a new mommy myself, I completely understand the emotions of joy, excitement, anticipation, eagerness, longing, etc. that they are feeling right now. Jenna and Blaine’s lives are on the verge of an incredible change. Baby Seagraves is expected to be born in December 2015. I’m so glad I got to be a part of such a wonderful time in their lives!
