If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times. Fall is my favorite time of year to photograph anything, everything, and everyone! I believe there are many many people who agree with me on this as well. That’s why my mini sessions have been a hit every fall season that I’ve hosted them.

For me, I just enjoy mingling with people. Booking several mini sessions back-to-back, it’s like a party for me! Every year I get meet new families. Most times I get to reconnect with loyal clients that come see me for pictures over and over again. It’s always a treat to see these families grow over time, too. It is a pleasure to photograph my clients in the mix of all the gorgeous fall colors and cool crisp autumn air. The amazing foliage just adds so much beauty to family portraiture, don’t you think?. #allthefallfeels

For my clients who book fall portrait sessions, obviously they’re on the autumn beauty train as well. In addition to the major discount that’s extended to these mini session clients, there are many benefits to getting portraits made during the fall. For starters, the quick mini session is perfect for families that have small children with a short session tolerance. And believe it or not, most grown men love the idea that they only have to “werk” the camera for just 15 minutes (it’s such a hard life being so handsome, haha)! Most clients have Christmas cards in mind and they want to use these images to create a personal memento for their loved ones. Here’s an even better idea; Family portraits also make excellent Christmas gifts! Give a grandparent a beautiful canvased portrait of their grandbabies and you will need about as many tissues as you’d use watching an episode of “This Is Us”! This is a gift you can’t get on a shelf at just any store in town. And not to mention, sometimes it just is refreshing to add new art to your own home decor, am I right?
