A Mountain Vineyard Engagement Session ::{ Dahlonega, Georgia Wedding Photographer }::

Just for the record, the amount of fun I have with Brittany and Marshall is unmeasurable! If you know this darling couple personally, you know that their high spirits are both compelling and beautiful. My cheeks were sore when this engagement session was over, just from laughing so much. These two together are hysterical! I just love them.

Working the grounds of Montaluce Vineyards is always such a treat! I first found out about this lovely venue while I was completing my college education in Photography and it has been one of my favorite places to photograph. From the beautiful field of luscious vines to that gorgeous main event building, you could not ask for sweeter eye candy! But wait—add a super cute and romantic couple to that scene and BAM! It’s even more than all that! How lucky am I?!

I’m going to take this opportunity right now to brag that Brittany and Marshall are not just clients of mine–they are my friends!! In fact, my husband will be a groomsman at their wedding this September! We had them over for dinner sometime shortly after they had gotten engaged. Over our meal of chicken, zucchini and onions, and baked potatoes Marshall asked my husband to be in his wedding and right after we squealed over that excitement Brittany told me that they also wanted me to be their wedding photographer! More squealing! That was a double decker of a surprise! And of course, I was totally in!

My husband and Marshall have actually been friends longer than Brittany and Marshall have been together, which is a long time! As young boys they were playing on the elementary school playgrounds together in first grade (#90skids), but it wouldn’t be too long before Brittany and Marshall would cross paths at a grocery store in the summer of 2005. Who knew that 13 years later they would be planning their future together as husband and wife? I know a lot of people have been anticipating the day Marshall would pop the question, but I admire their patience in waiting for the right time. They have continued to love each other through many stages of life and have persevered above everything.

So now we await the big day! Brittany and Marshall are planning to exchange vows at The Thompson House and Gardens this September. I am so honored to be a part of such a special day for them. I have no doubt it will be a great day filled with laughter and sweet moments. Stay tuned, friends!
