Brunch Wedding at Bradford House and Gardens •|• Flowery Branch, GA Photographer

The first words out of Paul’s mouth were, “You look magnificent,” as he laid his eyes on his bride for the first time on their wedding day. My team and I had set up the scene for Cassie and Paul’s first look together on the side porch at Bradford House and Gardens, moments before the wedding ceremony would begin. A handful of their closest friends and family members were peeking through the windows gleaming with excitement as this special first look moment unfolded. Cassie looked like a bride who had just walked straight out of the cover of a magazine! Her dress was probably the most beautiful dress I’ve seen yet. She was absolutely stunning!!!

These two sweethearts exchanged vows in the morning hours under an all white pavilion and then treated their guests to a brunch reception–which I LOVE!! Y’all know I love food, and brunch is one of my favorite meals of the day! There’s something super comforting about breakfast foods, and when you combine breakfast and lunch together you get the best of both worlds… something so delightful… kind of like Cassie and Paul! 🙂

To think this love all began at a FEMA event in Alabama! Paul, a paramedic in San Diego, crossed paths with Cassie, an Atlanta nurse, at a FEMA convention that they attended. Sparks flew, and now they’re married! Woot woot! Paul unexpectedly proposed to Cassie on her mother’s birthday. He hid that gorgeous ring under his arm during dinner until the perfect moment!

Cassie and Paul are both tremendous servants. Lately I have been thinking so much about Cassie in the way that she is serving her patients at the hospital, some of which are suffering this dangerous COVID-19 sickness. We really need to be praying for her health at this time. I am so thankful for nurses like Cassie, who are being incredibly selfless to care for those in need. I also am very grateful for Paul and his service not only to the people he helps in his role of being a paramedic, but also for his military service. He has fought for our country and that is something to be honored for.  A huge thank you goes out to you both for not only being amazing people, but also for allowing me to serve YOU on such a wonderful occasion. It was an honor and I hope that these photographs bless you for years to come.
