I met Renee at a bridal show I was exhibiting in just last month, and we instantly hit it off! While we chatted at my booth, we talked about her wedding plans but we also discovered that we personally had some really cool things in common! She was a big “Say Yes To The Dress” fan, and had recognized who I was because she had seen the episode I was on (Season 6, Episode 6) from almost 5 years ago! And we both had auditioned for American Idol before! I immediately felt like we had know each other our entire lives after connecting over those two topics alone. And this girl is such a fun person to be around! She is really really funny! And she just has such a fun spunk about her! Needless to say, I am so happy our paths crossed! Even more so, I’m stoked about photographing her wedding this Spring!!

Meeting Michael for the first time, I instantly picked up on his cool, calm, collective vibe. He’s such a chill dude. I can totally see why he and Renee make such a great fit for each other! Watching him watch her, it’s so obvious he adores her! Knowing that taking pictures for a couple of hours typically is the farthest thing from a man’s idea of a fun afternoon, Michael really was so patient and so nice to oblige to our demands for this session. Being in the profession of horticulture, he was actually very helpful in suggesting certain flowers for close-up ring shots!

Over all, we had a fun time! I just know that their wedding day will be so special and we’re going to have a grand time when that day comes. Renee + Michael, THANK YOU for choosing me to be your photographer! I am honored.
