I met Reneé at my bridal show in January, and in less than 3 months later she and Michael married. I vividly remember our first conversation at my booth and we really seemed to hit it off because we realized in a short time how much we have in common. For starters, she’s a fan […]
Shortly after Kayce and Jordy started getting to know each other over 4 years ago, they realized that they were practically neighbors! Now, it’s been almost one full year since he proposed to her in Colorado and we got to do some really great engagement photos to celebrate their love story right! The State Botanical […]
You guys, I just exhibited in my very first bridal show! With the recent rebrand that took place in my business, I really felt like I needed to pump up my marketing game this year. Exhibiting in a bridal show was my method of choice and I am so glad I did it! God is […]
I’m so excited to share this Perimeter Church wedding with you today, friends! This late-fall wedding was the last wedding I had on the books for the remainder of 2017. It’s so hard to believe that we’re onto another great year. I’m looking forward to what 2018 has in store! For Maddie and Whit, 2017 was […]
It was a beautiful, and chilly, autumn morning in Atlanta. The leaves on the trees were at peak saturation for the season. Eye candy. As I waited for the moment when I’d meet Christine and Tyler, I shuffled through the piles of fallen leaves beneath my feet, as if it were left over confetti from […]
Tara Wilburn, photographer in Athens, Georgia, announces a rebrand in her business name!
This wedding had so many unique and personal features to it. My favorite detail was that Sierra’s 89-year-old grandmother was the flower girl! I just thought that was such a thoughtful thing to do to exalt her elder with such a youthful and precious task. It was a beautiful thing to have witnessed, and I wish more brides would do it. Heck, I wish I’d had thought of that! She also had her brother as her man maid of honor. I can’t think of a better place for someone so close to you to be than by your side helping you take care of everything on your wedding day. Last but not least, I loved all of the firefighter details the couple incorporated into their decor. The garter was made from scrap material from Tyler’s uniform. The cake, embellished with a fireman-groom cake topper, was cut with an axe. I mean how cool is that!?
